Playing with Logan

Image
It's a beautiful September day and we are spending it at Logan's house, playing outside. You too don't quite play together yet, more like play side by side. Both of you  absorbed in your own play, not interacting with each other.  You were just so curious of this world. I'm hoping to capture these moments in your photos. Another opportunity to take pictures of you with my new camera, but you wouldn't let me clean you up. You had food on your forehead, on your white shirt, and you shirt was not put on correctly. I tried a couple times but your focus with on playing and I didn't want all of your pictures to be our you crying. You win!! You liked 'Playing' with Logan. It wasn't really playing, it was watching, copying, a fight for toys, and a fight for position in the sand box or playground.  Logan being 6 months older, liked to show you things and push you. You would yell at him, never cry...just yell.  ...

9 Months ... New Camera

9 months old and life is getting more and more exciting everyday. I'm proud of myself with how great of a mother I am to you. It's because I love you very much and I want the best for you. The wind went through your hair, smiling and touching your hair as it felt new to you.  It wasn't long before you were on the move, crawling in one direction and then the next... One red flag got your attention, you didn't stop until you got to the flag. You pulled the flag from the ground and explored it. I think it was the color you liked. When it was time to go it wasn't easy to leave, you throw the biggest tantrum. But even when you cried you were so cute. If was about half when home w...

Denver Zoo for the First Time

Image
Denver Zoo with you for the first time was magical... You had so much wonder and curiosity. I feel excited for our future together.  First time at the zoo, you'd expect to like the big animals but no, you liked the drums. All you wanted to do was play them. So we jammed on the drums for a while and then I carried you off for the next couple hours around the rest of the zoo. I hadn't been there in 10 years, so I liked going with you.
