Hot Chocolate Before School

Image
Kids wanted to have a special breakfast this morning. Special to them means DONUTS and CHOCOLATE. I said no and got these faces. But I was just playing around with them, and of course I got them donuts and hot chocolate.  We went to Brown's a cafe near our home and on the way to school. I enjoy these credible moments with the boys. I listen to them talk to each other or talk with them about their friends, school, video game, or whatever they want to talk about. I just love them so much.  Brother Love.

Smell the roses..

Walking home from school, Layden came across this tree. The fence was cut for the tree, it was incredible. I picked a flower from the tree and Layden loved the smell. It made him so happy.  Smelling the Roses What a cool detail.

St. Kilda Beach

Image
St. Kilda Beach Always buzzing with activity on a sunny day, St. Kilda  Beach is a great place to meet people. The adjacent bike paths make it a fine place for cycling, rollerblading or just a leisurely walk, but  many choose to simply lie back and soak up the sunshine. Only 20 minutes from the city centre by tram. Building Sand Castles St. Kilda Pier This historic pier provides outstanding views of the city skyline and is a popular place to promenade. At the end of the pier is a replica of a Victorian kiosk, which serves light meals and snacks. The prospect of spotting the little  penguin colony on the nearby breakwater is an additional draw for visitors.

Not sure what happened, but I picked you up from school and your nose and eyes didn’t look so good. But nothing hugs and kisses can’t help.

Chocolate and Fruit with our new friends

Image
Dipping fruit into chocolate is only half bad, and is really yummy. Making friends.  Tia sitting across from Layden is in his class. Olivia is her younger sister. Brown’s. On our way to school we sometimes stop in to have a hot chocolate and a donut. Layden love the jelly filled donut. Ryleigh would prefer to try something new.

Victoria Garden Shopping Centre

Image
Victoria Garden Shopping Centre Chris and I wanted to do a bit of shopping. Nothing particular, just looking. It was interesting because I have a hard time with the cost. Living in Melbourne is a lot more expensive than Denver, Colorado. I wanted a shirt at Guess that was $85. It was nothing special, in Denver I would have paid $35 on the high in.  We stopped to have lunch in the food court and got stuffed potatoes. Yummy.

Bebe Coffee

Image
Starbucks you have nothing on this... this is fun and good. Dad and I took a walk today and stopped in to Bebe Coffee for a Mocha. It was so delicious, I wanted two. These small moments with Chris has been incredible. We talk of nothing and everything. The trees to our future goals and dreams.  This is our everything.

Layden love flower next to his bed. So cute.

Layden loves flower next to his bed. So cute.  Everyday as we walked to school Layden would see a flower guy and ask for flowers. I asked him what he wanted with the flowers and he say 'I want to see the flowers when I wake up'. After that, Layden asked to buy flowers for his bedside table every week.

Fresh and Clean

Dad wrapped Ryleigh like himself when he gets out of the shower. Ryleigh was wanting to know if he looks like daddy. Yes. You are your daddy's son.
