Layden's 'Fairy Shop' Field Trip

Little Fairy,
Shine so bright.
Little Fairy,
Show your light.

I was invited to go with Layden on a field trip to the Fairy Shop. It was a short walk from the school, making for a magical moments to start before we even got to the fairy shop where the magic actually is. Layden was happy to hold me hand on the walk and talk to me about what was on his mind.

I was very surprise we were going to a fairy shop for a school field trip. What educational value does it have to offer. Imagination.

Story Time. As we walked into the fairy shop we were brought to a room. Painted walls with beautiful cartoon pictures filled every inch of the walls and ceiling. The kids sat in the middle of the room to hear a story for Snow White. All the employees dressed in Walt Disney customs. The kids were very interested in her story and couldn't wait to participate.

Some of the girls in Layden's class came dressed up in their favorite Walt Disney Princess outfits or favorite dresses.

One special girl got to participate in the story and dress up in the witches outfit.

As they read the story they would invite more and more kids to take part.

All the kids wanted to be called to be part of the story so I was so happy when she called Layden. He was so brave. He got up immediately and walked to his place and did actually what she asked.

After the story the kids went into the snack room for Fairy bread made by one of the parents.
Fairy Bread is Bread with butter and sprinkles cut into 2 triangles. I thought it was not going to by yummy. Layden on the other hand was ready to try it and didn't mind it.

Layden was happy to try the Bread.

After the Fairy Bread the kids were brought to another room to talk about the rules of the garden. And what they should look for to be able to see the fairy's.

They were also given special gifts to take home. As parents got a chance to buy a special gift for our children if we wanted too. I bought the boys fairy dust and a wand.

All of the kids eyes lighted up when they saw the garden. The garden was filled with fairy houses, large colorful mushrooms, flowers, and garden gnomes. All the kids through the garden looking closely at everything hoping they would see a fairy.

Layden would get upset when the other kids would be to loud as they would scary away the fairy.

Layden took a lot of time to look for the fairys.

A gnomes village.

Layden asked multiple times if we could take home a fairy. He said he would love it, and take care of it, and it would make him very happy.

It is said to have a fairy come live with you, you must build a fairy home, create happy and safe magic around it and then the fairy will come.

Seeing their first fairy.

Around this time of the year
The arrival of Spring is near
The arrival of Spring is almost here
And I'll happily be one with the spirits of nature
I'll completely embrace the magic of spring
As well as the wonder of nature
And the many other worldly pleasures

Around this time of the year
I await the fairy dust rain
Surrounded by trees and flowers
And many other things that are green
I await the arrival of the fairy dust rain
And many other sights of nature just waiting to be seen
A beautiful fairy flutters down from the sky
And lands down in front of me
She's almost as tall as me
We greet each other
And our hopes are the same
As we wait for the fairy dust rain
In the meantime
