Layden 6th Birthday

Layden's Birthday December 21, 2011
We did presents in the morning and he got the one big thing he asked for. A Soccerball! We had birthday breakfast of LP's choice. He wanted to cook flapjacks in his new apron. At school they had a small celebration for him and Melissa did something bigger for him for lunch. She brought in personal pizza's for Layden his BFF Lili and Ryleigh. She also told stories to his class for 2 hours. I thought Layden's birthday dinner was an interesting choice. He wanted Sushi, we did Sushi and Ice Cream dessert. It was a good day for him.

I can't believe you are 6 years old.

Gift time. Camera like your brother's camera. You two love using my camera to take pictures. Now you can take as many pictures as you want.

You love cooking with me in the kitchen. Lets never stop finding way to spend time together.

My son, I won’t always be here to hold your hand; to comfort you; to make the hurt go way or to see you win. I do hope though that during the time we have together, I can use my words to pass on to you the better parts of me and what I have learned. I haven’t always been able to follow all my advice but I share this with you because I know you will be a much better person than I ever was. As you grow, my guidance grows on you. These words are from my heart to yours – filled with love and strength. Remember them.

It's the last day of school for the year and Layden's Birthday. Today, I brought him balloons, lunch, and cupcakes for his classmates.

Layden's class did a great job celebrating his birthday
