  June 3, 2021: Day 445 of COVID


First day in Florid and there are some items we definitely want to do. First. Breakfast.


The place we normally love to go to is closed due to COVID )very sad). But this new place we found is incredible. But even better. 




So much yummiest. 









Next, the beach.  We spent a couple hours playing at the beach and enjoying the ocean. It was nice to finally vacation after COVID.

  June 7, 2021: Day 449 of COVID


Ryleigh's first day at Event Tennis Academy

I taught a little boy now to swim yesterday at the pool, he left me this note. So sweet. 



While Ryleigh is at Tennis camp we are off to have lunch at the beach and going swimming.

The beach is so relaxing. 









Chris, Layden and Athena are going crazy swimming and having so much fun. While Issiah and I are enjoying sunbathing. 








Time to head back and drop these kids off before getting Ryleigh.



Ryleigh had an incredible time. He talked our ears off on the way home. He had so many fun stories.

Today is a relaxing day at the resort. I'm spending most my time working on my books. A little lizard joined he on the patio this morning. Today, was dropping Ryleigh off at camp and relaxing at the resort.

Last day of the first week of Tennis Camp

Chris and I are walking everyday. It's wonderful, a time to connect and just talk. 







Early to pick up Ryleigh, I love watching him in match play. 




They stopped match play and had an award ceremony. Ryleigh received an award for his mindset.

  June 12, 2021: Day 454 of COVID


Today we are off to a private lake to wake board. 


Ryleigh wanted to go first which is hard. He's too strong making it hard to get up but he worked it out. 








Layden was next. His lite weight body popped him up. Layden gave Ryleigh the funniest looked.





Athena was third to go. She popped up fast but was worried about hitting the boat. 





Then Issiah. He's great. touched the water. Layden and Issiah think they are the best. But I popped up and jumped the wake. And Chris was even better.










After wakeboard, we did a bit of tubing. so fun.






We went to an awesome hamburger place. 




Meanwhile. My 6.5 team is at districts.


Afternoon tennis. 






Pool time and family games. What a full on day.

  • New York, New Jersey and Connecticut will require travelers from states with high Covid-19 cases to quarantine for two weeks. At least 26 US states are seeing rising cases of the disease.
  • The EU is considering recommending member states block travelers, including Americans, from visiting their countries due to a Covid-19 surge


  June 25, 2021: Day 467 of COVID

A new and slightly different version of the Delta coronavirus variant is spreading in countries including the United Kingdom, the United States and India, health officials say. It's called the Delta Plus variant, and it could be even more contagious than the Delta version. So far, about 200 cases in 11 countries have been identified. Meanwhile, more than 1 in 10 people who got one dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccine in the US have missed their second dose, according to CDC data. That could leave people more vulnerable to dangerous coronavirus strains like the Delta variant.

  • The US reported more than 40,000 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, its biggest daily jump yet. Yet only two US states are reporting a decline in new coronavirus cases
  • The number of cases in Latin America has tripled in the past month, surpassing 2 million infections, the Pan American Health Organization said.
  • India reported 19,906 new coronavirus cases on Sunday -- the country's biggest one-day jump


  June 29, 2021: Day 471 of COVID

  • The more dangerous and more transmissible Delta variant has spread to nearly every state in the US, feeding health experts' concern over potential Covid-19 spikes in the fall.
  • The Delta variant now accounts for about 1 in every 5 new US infections, forcing officials to rethink Covid-19 measures – even for the vaccinated.
  • Meanwhile, other parts of the world are tightening Covid-19 restrictions. South Africa has entered at least two weeks of lockdown to combat a third wave linked to the Delta variant. About 10 million Australians are also under lockdown


  June 30, 2021: Day 472 of COVID



Chris and I tried to go work down town at Union Station but we didn't plan currently so we went back home.
