Long For The Flowers

These simple beautiful memories are what I live for. Before you came into my life, I never enjoyed and experienced the seasons like I do now with you. Autumn is absolutely perfect and I can't wait to spend more autumns with you.  First time at the Pumpkin Patch and you were on the move, crawling over the piles of pumpkins. It was fun to watch you explore, and learn.  I love fall, pumpkin patches, warm sweaters, and changing leaves. And now I get to experience with you.  Family Photos

Halloween Birthday Party for Gauge. Today we went to a Halloween Birthday Party for Gauge. We dressed you up in a your Tigger Halloween Costume. You loved to see all the other kids in their Halloween Costumes. And you LOVED the birthday cake.

Family Poker Night.  Nana Reta, Papa Herb, and Uncle Zach can’t get enough of you, they come up with all kinds of reasons to spend time with you. Family Poker Night is the newest reason to see you once per week. It’s a lot of fun. Everyone takes turns playing with you and holding you while we play poker. You love playing with the poker chips.  You are my wild child. A truly free spirit. A gift from above. I couldn’t have dreamed your unique, carefree spirit into existence. You are a pure miracle. Halloween/fall season I see you become more and more curious about the world around you. You explore every pumpkin, every leaf, every scary Halloween decorations, and everything new. You are fearless, and so curious of your world.

October 3rd, you had another photoshoot. Yea this went on for a while, the present was for 1 photo session per month for your first year. Cool Right… Well we wanted to get your fingers and ties in this  one but you wouldn’t take your fingers from your mouth. Everytime we pulled them from your mouth. Everytime we pulled them from your mouth, you got pissed and started throwing a big fit. So we moved the camera to the back and got pictures of your beans, also known as toes. Super cute. I'm so happy to have these photos for us together. You, my child, are supposed to take my love for granted. You should know that I love you just as well as you know your own name. My love was your very first love, and it will last last your entire lifetime, even long after I'm gone.
