Layden and I are making Pineapple underside down cake. This is a family recipe from my grandmother, Mama Olga. Layden was happy to help. He wanted to crack the eggs and for the most part did a great job. Although, a shell or two got in.  The cake was delicious and Layden was so proud of himself for his ‘yummy yummy cake’. He couldn’t wait to give daddy a slice. He watched dad take the first bite and immediately said ‘yummy, right daddy’.
