First Time Trick or Treating in Australia: Halloween

Trick or Treating is interesting in Australia, not every neighborhood participates. Our friends Eric and Amanda and their kids invited us to their neighborhood that was hosting a Trick or Treating neighborhood event. We had no idea what to expect, we were just hoping it was going to be fun for the kids.

Ryleigh was Anakin Skywalker. We forgot trick or treating bags, so plastic bags it is.

Layden is Ironman. He was focused on this event and couldn't wait to go.

The event was actually very cool. We had a maps of the houses and businesses participating. They were decorated and passing out lots of goodies. It was done very well.

Layden was happy to see houses covered in spiders and other halloween decoration.

Ryleigh found himself trick or treating alone. Running house to house and coming back to show us what he got. He didn't want to wait from Layden as he was to slow

There were so many kids at very house, all of them dressed up in Halloween customs.

Some meant the kids at the door or in the yard, and some invited the kids in to the house or garages. This was normal. I was not having it. But I sat back a watched closely.
