TPS School Swim Lessons

I love that the school does this. For 2 weeks each year the kids have swim lessons every day. Ryleigh is in 2nd grade and Layden is in prep (kindergarten)  As an involved mother I couldn't miss being a part of this. The boys took a bus to swim lessons I walked. The walk was wonderful but the first day I walked to the swim lessons I worried I would show up late. I was on time. When I got to the lessons the kids where in waiting for the lessons to start. They were goofy, joking, and ready to jump in.  Ryleigh's friend Jenny Ryleigh was excited to see me but wanted to hang out with friends.  Edward was Ryleigh's new friend. Edward liked that Ryleigh sounded different.  It was a large class His friend Jenny was sad when Ryleigh took interest in another kid. Ryleigh didn't like it when she got sad. Trying to make her happy.  Try outs. They started the lesson in the small pool to see what the kids levels ...

My Favorite Chocolate Store

Layden and I went to give a special treat. We stopped in a coffee shop for a hot chocolate and a warm chocolate muffin. Layden and I love our chocolate. He made me laugh with is funny jokes and wonderful personality. I absolutely love these one-on-one time together. 

Daddy's 36th Birthday

Happy 36th Birthday, Chris. We love you!! Layden and I went to Brown's for your birthday cake we hope you like it.  Layden is very proud of the cake we picked out for Daddy. He also picked out the candles and wanted only 5, because Layden is 5 years old. 

A day at the Beach, South of Melbourne

Our family spent the day drive the coast line, making random stops along the way at some very beautiful beaches. First stop and coffee shop for coffee for Chris and I and Hot chocolate for the boys and of course a sweet. Fell in love with these flowers.  First beach.  Beach day Love this picture of the little guy As Chris and I get familiar with our new surrounding in Melbourne we get more brave to explore beaches further down closer to the Mornington Peninsula.  We rented a car, packed up and took off in the direction of the Mornington Peninsula. We didn't have a destination just a simple desire to explore. Lunch time we stopped off at an amazing Fish and Chip place across from a beach. As we eat the kids talked about play in the sand. It was a colder day, so we warned the beach would be cold and the we wouldn't go into the ocean.  I capture a moment when Layden sat on the beach and he watch the ocean. He was stil...
