Walking to pick up the boys from school on a rainy day. I love this walk.

If you live in Melbourne you say 'Melbourne get 4 seasons in an hour. I didn't see it coming from Colorado after all Colorado has all 4 seasons. Melbourne would get cold than hot, it would rain, and get windy. But it was always green, never snowed. The rain at times was heaven and last hours on end. Walking to pick up the kids in the heavy rain was the worst. I would sometime ask a friend for a ride. Today, it's a lite rain. I love it. I started my walk early, stopped by a coffee shop then walking my path to school enjoying the trees and the plants I see every day on my walk.

Cella Lily grow large in the Melbourne climate. They are so beautiful to walk by. I stop for a minute or two to look at them and their large leafs that are 20 plus inches long. I'm always amazed by the size of leafs I see.

I see these bushed everywhere. Their large pink flower grabs my attention. Layden is also attracted to this bush. On the way home in runs up to it and smells the flowers.

The flower is beautiful. I would love to pick one one day but Layden hates when I pick flowers. Layden says they are better alive. I have to agree.

When Layden's love for flowers, I decided to buy strawberry pots and a berryblue tree. I couldn't wait to surprise Layden when he got home.

Layden was very happy and checked the pots everyday for strawberries. Hopeful in time we will see one or two pop up. For now, we sit outside under the patio with our blankets and tell stories and wait for a strawberry to grow.

A plant I discovered in our garden. It reminds me of a reef.
