Garden park discovery
Finding friends in a new country has been a blessing for Chris and I. Eric and Amanda and their two beautiful children Triniti and Jesse, relocated to Melbourne from the US a short month after Chris and I did. Getting to know their family has been amazing.
Their is quote that says 'nothing makes the earth so spacious as to have friends." Our journey to Melbourne became warmer when our friendship came a love.
The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discovers that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust him with friendship
Our Friends are like our second family
A fun day at the Park...
Eric and Amanda moved into their new home and invited us to visit they today. It took us 3 trains to get there. Partly because I kept getting off at the wrong spot and once took the wrong train.
While Chris helped Eric with the heavy lifting Amanda and I took the kids for hot chocolate and then to the park.
My boys are fining this life of hot chocolate and a sweet to be a routine in our daily life here in Melbourne. Ryleigh is starting to noticing the different types of chocolate. And is now asking for belgium chocolate.
To go with there hot chocolate that wasn't enough sugar, we got he kids a cupcake. Yummy. And yea, I had a macho and chocolate cupcake.
Their kids and our kids are around the same ages. They all seem to get along and have fun together. As we get to know their children, we notice their personality quirks. Like Jesse doesn't know how to smile. He tries. It very cute.
The kids played at the park for about an hour. First exploring the park and what it had to offer. Then swing, seeing who can swing the highest. They then went onto playing imaginary games. Amanda and I talked and took pictures of the kids.
After the kids played at the park, we wanted to explore the garden parks around the area. The kids were exhausted, but we needed to keep them out of the house long so get up kids and time to explore.
It didn't take long before then were playing again and happy to be on this adventure.
I couldn't help but to notice the beauty in the tree and the flora.
I tried hard to get the kids to get one good picture but that proved to be impossible.
We found magic in the trees and told stories of the fairy would live in these trees. The kids talk of spells and magic. Their imagination is wonderful.
All the kids look very closely to see if they can see the fairy. Layden is the first to see.
Please one good photo... no. ok
